CONSIGNMENT GUIDE

In order to give everyone the best experience and guarantee the quality of the products that will be sold, we make sure to meticulously inspect each item before making our selection and setting the price.

For One Soul Many Stories, a good price is a price that maximizes the chances of quickly finding a buyer and above all of successfully closing the sale during the 3 days of the pop-up. We take into account the brand, style, condition, trends as well as supply and demand. 

Here are some tips to help you with your sorting and give your items the best chance to be selected for the sale!

1. Check your items in bright daylight, on your balcony or near a large window, small stains or blemishes are easier to spot.

2. Be especially careful of the yellow marks (on collar or underarms), discolouration from sunlight, moisture stains (white on dark fabrics and yellow/rust on white fabrics). They are unfortunately very common in Singapore!

3. Wash your items before handing them over to us, the smell of humidity seeps everywhere when a piece is not worn very often.

4. Make sure your items are not faded, felted or declawed

5. Check zippers, seams, hems, buttons. The brand labels with  size, composition and maintenance instructions should not be cut off. 

6. Make sure the bags all feature their original straps and ideally the dustbags

7. Consider providing the authenticity cards or receipts for all consignment of Luxury items (in particular bags & accessories).

We only accept items in impeccable condition and in line with the below condition ratings:

NEW WITH TAGS / IN BOX

Item is brand new, current or recently bought and has never been used. Item comes complete with all store-bought inclusions: original labels, tags attached, authenticity card and gift packaging in pristine condition (i.e., presentation box is in mint condition with no dent or stains/mould). The item is considered to be in giftable condition. 

AS NEW

Item has been kept unused or is in pristine condition with no modifications done and looks nearly new with no visible scratches or marks on surface and hardware. Clothing pieces are in original store-bought condition and never altered.

GENTLY LOVED

Item shows slight signs of wear, with slight scratches or marks on surface and hardware. Clothing pieces may have some slightly visible signs of wear/pilling/pulls and/or might have been slightly altered.

VINTAGE

Item shows some signs of wear / age with some scratches or marks on surface and hardware. Clothing pieces may have some visible signs of wear/stains/pilling/pulls and/or the item might have been significantly altered or missing minor buttons/hooks.The item  still brings value due to its brand, model, cut, etc.

Clothing and swimsuits: Size from size 34 to 44 (XS to XXL).

Excluding underwear, maternity and sports wear. 

Shoes: Size 35 to 42 Sandals, sneakers, derbies, moccasins, loafers, mules, ballerinas, pumps, stilettos, espadrilles / wedge espadrilles.

Bags: Handbags, shoulder bags, crossbody, clutches, weekender/travel bags, computer bags...must include original straps and dust bags for luxury items.

Excluding suitcases.

Accessories: Sunglasses, belts, scarves, small leather goods, key rings, etc..

Jewellery: Bracelets, rings, necklaces, earrings, etc..
